So Many Blessings so little time!

            Dear Family and friends,

This week was great!! :) Happy happy days! The weeks go by so fast, it’s ridiculous. But I am going to get right into this letter cuz I only have 47 minutes left on this computer and I want to tell you as much as I can!!

Monday the 14th – Elder Carder and I went bowling with our district. Then went and played basketball with the elders…. Bowling was fun but basketball…. Oh my days! It was so awful. We have this one elder who thinks he is all that and a bag of chips and I just sit there and laugh at him, because he is just so cocky. But whatever. ON p-days we don’t too much but come 6 o clock we go back to doing the Lord’s work. We had a few appointments and they all fell through til athe last one which is a dad and a 13 year old girl named Isabella and Ian. They have been investigating the church for about 7 or 8 years!! We had a great lesson with them and Isabella wants to be baptised but Ian isn’t totally for it.

Tuesday- on Tuesday we didn’t have too many appointments so we did a whole lot of tracting. But a miracle happened! We went to an appointment in the AM and of course they weren’t there. :( sooo we started heading back to our flat to go have some lunch and do this program called 12 weeks that all new missionaries have to do. On the way back we stopped by a less active member whose name is Susan. Susan is 54 years old who has WoW problems and she is single. And her being single means we can’t go into her house unless another man is present over the age of 18. SO we were just going to say hi and bye. But right when we showed up Susan’s guy friend came over!! SO we could go in and teach her a lesson :) but that isn’t the miracle. While we were talking to her, she broke down into tears. She was a wreck. It was sad to see. I felt like a therapist trying to help her with her problems. Elder Carder was talking to her and then out of the blue the spirit told me to share with her Alma 37:36&37. Oh my gosh. It was such a great scripture!! It helped her so much and the spirit was so strong! This was the first time the spirit has prompted me to say something that was that powerful! I was so happy! :) :) :’) :) That was Miracle Tuesday.

Wednesday- :) oh budddie! Wednesday was a great day! Well actually it was awful. At first but our last appointment was with this man named Paul (pol/Pole) who is in his 40’s and that I contacted on the street. :) (pat myself on the back, good job Dayton) Paul cannot read or write. And he never went to school. Like what the heck?! Who doesn’t go to school?! Because he can’t read, write and he isn’t educated at all… we taught him who our Heavenly Father was. And how to pray. This took about 40 minutes. Just to explain those two things. It was a really good lesson though. You could see that he was feeling the spirit. And at one time during the lesson, he looked at me and said, “You have such great power when you speak. I can feel it” hahah so we definitely knew he could feel the spirit! At the end of the Lesson we asked him if he wanted to get baptised and he said……….. YES!! WEHU! He is scheduled for Nov 10th! Keep him in your prayers.

Thursday- Every Thursday we have a district meeting which goes from 10-12 and then we go and eat lunch with the district from 12-1. :) It’s some pretty fun stuff. I tell ya wut. Once again we went to all of our appointments and they all fell through! Oh. My. Gosh. Hahah but we’re used to it now so it doesn’t even phase us. :) we are always happy! We had a dinner appointment with the Jazuski’s and there family is gr8! They are a part member family but they are sealed in the temple. The dad is the in active one but he is a really cool guy. We are teaching their little 9 year old girl Aimee. She is really interested and wants to get baptised! We haven’t set a date but she wants to be baptised! So that’s awesome! We then went to another appointment with a part member family (the Hamblins) WE are teaching their son Danny who is 8 and just told me yesterday that he wants me to baptise him! So hopefully that enthusiasm stays in him :) :)

Friday- We went to two dinner appointments and oh my gosh I was so full!!!!!!! I couldn’t handle it. But I did weigh myself….. I have gained 10-15 pounds already on my mission! :) Yaaa Budddy!! If anything I would just come on a mission to gain weight. LOL but I eat so much now! IT’S crazy! Hahah but don’t worry I’m not a fat person. Still a lean guy! But they were great appointments. They were with the bishop and the collinson family. So that was good!

Im not going to tell you about Saturday or Sunday but they were great as usual! But I was reading my patriarchal blessing this morning and I started looking up scripture references to certain words and stuff. And I came upon 1 John. I challenge everybody who reads this e-mail to read 1 John. Don’t worry it’s only 3 pages it won’t take  you very long. But I promise if you read this with an open heart and really think about it you will be tremendously blessed! Keep e-mailing me! I love you so much!

Love Elder Wright

p.s. if you could send me a beanie and a scarf…. I don’t know my ears kinda get cold at night :) hahah but that’s really about it for now. I’m doing perfect!
